For the Leeds Digital Festival we're taking service design outside, with a special event centred on Millennium Square, Leeds.

Walkshop, Millennium Square, 3:52pm: We'll meet at sunset on the steps in front of Leeds City Museum for a walking discussion of the thickening layers of digital technology that we find in the public domain, and how this "networked urbanism" can contribute to the practice of service design. The event is inspired by Adam Greenfield and Nurri Kim's Do Project, Systems/Layers. A post-walk discussion will take place in the nearby Leonardo Building, courtesy of Leeds City Council.

Service Design Drinks, All Bar One, 6:30pm: Our regular event open to everybody who is interested in service design and design thinking, in having inspiring conversations and in connecting with like-minded people while having some drinks. After a really good Thinks event in October we’ve still got plenty to discuss and reflect on. The meetup is open to anyone who is interested in service design and is involved in the design and management of services - people from across all sectors. We have welcomed designers, managers, lecturers, students, architects, developers, entrepreneurs and communications folk… it really is open to all.
